The YALA Comet 27 is a permanent large-scale luxury canvas glamping lodge for resorts, private retreats, and signature hospitality destinations where architectural presence, spatial generosity, and long-term performance are non-negotiable.
The Comet 27 represents YALA's most expansive safari-inspired lodge — a destination-scale canvas residence conceived for resorts, private retreats, and signature hospitality environments where space, atmosphere, and architectural presence matter equally. Its generous footprint supports flexible interior planning, allowing operators to choose between multi-bedroom layouts or a bedroom suite paired with a private bathroom and fully appointed kitchen, all arranged to preserve openness while elevating guest comfort.
Daylight filters through tall vertical windows, wide verandas extend living outward, and the interior becomes a calm, luminous retreat shaped by breeze, shadow, and slow mornings under canvas. As the evolution of YALA's flagship lodge concept, the Comet 27 introduces enhanced airflow, refined construction detailing, and fire-retardant materials that balance operational durability with quiet, composed luxury.
Restrained yet monumental, purposeful rather than temporary, it is a shelter designed for destinations where longevity, guest experience, and architectural clarity define true outdoor living.
Starting at $21,849 for the base structure. Bespoke interiors and configuration support through The Luxe Outpost are available upon inquiry.

Care & Use
YALA safari tents are engineered for long-term outdoor durability. To ensure the safety of the structure and maintain your 24-month warranty coverage, please follow these professional maintenance guidelines.
Structural Integrity & Tensioning
• Check Tension Regularly: The stability of a safari tent depends on correct tensioning of the roof and wall canvases. Check these monthly, especially after heavy wind or rain, to prevent water pooling or fabric flapping.
• Frame & Hardware: Periodically ensure all ratchets are locked and that the wooden frame is stable. While natural aging of wood is expected, structural integrity must be monitored.
Moisture & Ventilation
• Prevent Mildew: Moisture is the primary enemy of high-quality canvas. Ensure the tent has adequate ventilation at all times to prevent condensation and mold growth, which are not covered by warranty.
• Winterizing: If the tent is not in use during winter, ensure it is cleaned and bone-dry before closing any protective layers to avoid trapping moisture.
Cleaning & Fabric Care
• PVC Roof Cleaning: The outer PVC roof can be cleaned with lukewarm water and a soft brush. For stubborn dirt, use only specialized PVC cleaners; never use high-pressure washers.
• Canvas Walls: Regularly brush off dry dirt from the inner tent canvas. Avoid chemical detergents as they can compromise fire-retardant and waterproof treatments.
• Removal of Debris: Keep the roof free of fallen leaves, branches, or bird droppings to prevent permanent staining or degradation of the material.
Zippers & Hardware
• Smooth Operation: Clean zippers with a soft brush to remove dust or sand. Apply a dry silicone spray periodically to ensure they glide easily without using excessive force.
• Branding: Do not remove or alter YALA branding, as this is a specific condition of your warranty.
Safe Operation
• Wind & Weather: In the event of extreme weather warnings, additional precautions may be required to secure the structure.
• No Modifications: Any unauthorized adjustments or modifications to the tent structure will void the warranty.
